Force Main and New Pump Station in Oak Grove Park

Overview

The Force Main and New Pump Station in Oak Grove Park project included engineering design and permitting of utility systems from NE 157th Terrace to NE 159th Street and New Pump Station.

AMBRO was responsible for preparing the Preliminary Engineering Report and developing on-site and off-site engineering plans for the water distribution system, fire line, gravity sewer system, lift station, and force main.

The scope of work included preparing technical specifications and bid documents, as well as managing the permitting process with multiple regulatory agencies.

AMBRO coordinated water and sewer plan reviews with the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department, City of North Miami Beach Public Works Department, Fire Department, and the Florida Department of Health.

This effort involved preparing dry-run submittals, attending review meetings, and completing all required permit applications.

During construction, AMBRO provided support services, including attendance at the pre-construction conference, review of material shop drawings, assistance to the contractor with scheduling activities, and support for the conveyance of utility systems.

A formal Statement of Work was also developed and delivered as part of AMBRO’s comprehensive engineering services.
